With the impact study “Positive psychology for children – how to increase wellbeing, self-esteem, positivity and optimize learning” Louise Tidmand graduated in the top of her class with a Masters Degree in Educational
Psychology in December 2012.
This rather large impact study documented the positive impact of working with positive psychology and happiness enhancing factors with children, their parents and teachers.
Both as a parent as well as in her daily work teaching, Louise has experienced how consciously working with happiness and joy makes a huge difference in children´s self-perception, self-esteem, well-being, optimism and motivation for learning. This knowledge has led Louise to create her concept and Happy Kids.
About working with happiness and joy, Louise says: “ As a mother I have experienced how this work has given us, as a family as well as individually, a much more positive approach to life as a whole as well as everyday life. I can see how my own two teenagers have increased their self-esteem and self-perception, and they are much more focused on all the positive and joyful. We have learned how to become happier and more positive and optimistic, and that is just my point: You can learn how to be happy!
